What you get

Post-construction cleaning is its own discipline. Fresh-build glass usually comes covered in stucco bleed, paint overspray, drywall dust, sticker adhesive, and the occasional silicone smear. The wrong tools or technique will leave permanent scratches. We use razor-blade detailing where appropriate, plastic scrapers where the coating's delicate, and a controlled surfactant rinse so the frames and surrounding finishes don't suffer.

Who it's for

How it works

  1. Step 1 — Walk the site. We visit before final cleaning starts to assess pane count, story height, glass coatings, and any sensitive finishes.
  2. Step 2 — Coordinate timing. We schedule around the trades so we're not redoing work. Ideally we're the last service in the door.
  3. Step 3 — Detail every pane. We work pane by pane, using the right tool for each contaminant — razor blades only on standard glass, plastic scrapers on coated or low-E glass.
  4. Step 4 — Frame and surround. Once the glass is clear, we clean tracks, sills, and surrounding finishes so the install looks turnkey.
  5. Step 5 — GC walkthrough. Final review with the project manager so you can sign off before the customer arrives.

Common questions

When in the build should we book post-construction window cleaning?

Book us as one of the last trades in. Anything done after us — touch-up paint, dusty trim work, finish carpentry — will redirty the glass.

Do you scratch low-E or coated glass?

No. We identify low-E and tinted glass before starting and use plastic scrapers and chemistry rather than razor blades on those surfaces.

Can you handle the whole-building exterior on a multi-story custom home?

Yes — most two- and three-story residential exteriors are within our scope using ladder and water-fed pole work.

Do you bill the GC or the homeowner?

Either. Most often we bill the GC as part of the build, but we can split or invoice the owner directly if that's how the contract reads.

What if the glass is already scratched when you arrive?

We'll document it before we start and let you know. We don't take the blame for scratches we didn't cause.
